1John 5:1 thru 5 - WHOSOEVER BELIEVETH that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotton of him. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments; and his commandments are not grevious. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world, even our faith. Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
The weakest thing that we have today in the world and in the church is unbelief. We struggle to believe what God word is saying to the world and the church. The reason we struggle in unbelief of God's word; that we are lacking in loving Jesus Christ. Not only do we have faith in Jesus Christ, we also must love him. (We love him; because he first loved us. 1 John 4:19) Faith and love go together, (1 Cor 131:13 - And now abideth faith, hope, and charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity (love).
Why is love so important? It is important because of fear, and thru fear enters in doubt and unbelief. (1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. As he gives us a measure of faith and your faith needs to grow, also your love for God and Jesus Christ needs to grow. Perfect love, is mature love. We need mature love, if not then fear entereth in, and brings unbelief.
Our love for Jesus Christ will grow when we have a relationship with him. Why is love so important? (1 Cor 13:2 - And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity (love), I am nothing. I don't care how much faith you have without LOVE you are nothing.
The Church today needs the love of God to strengeth our faith, so we are able to believe what the word of God says I am in Christ, what I can do in Christ, who I am in Christ and that my answer will be YES and AMEN to all the promises of God.
Do you have things in your life that you love more than God. If you do, then there is a door for fear, doubt and unbelief to enter in. Let go and let God work in your life in a relationship and let the Holy Spirit shed the Love of God in your heart. He must be first. He can not be second in your life. You want your measure of faith to be effective, then let the love of God mature in your heart. When the love of God becomes so real in your life, then you will do anything for Jesus Christ and the kingdom of God. 1 Cor 13:8 - Charity (love) never faileth.
Whosoever loveth him and believeth in him, it is he who overcometh the world.

In these days and times a true born again disciple of Jesus Christ that walks and talks in the truth of the gospel will suffer many things for the kingdom of God. Trials are inevitable for you
in an ungodly world controlled by satan and opposed to the gospel of Jesus of Christ.
Those who have committed and picked up their cross each day to serve Jesus Christ, who live by the spirit, that are loyal and faithful and who loves the word of God will experience trouble and sorrow. Suffering because of righteousness is an evidence of the genuineness of devotion to Christ. Those who willingly suffer for Christ's cause find it easier to resist sin and to follow God's will. Being in the will of God starts each day when you get up and you decide to follow Christ and crucify the flesh, to do that you must seperate yourself from the world. Jesus said come out from among them and when you come out from among your old friends, the things you used to do, people will talk about you, mock you or even curse you, especially when you talk to them about Jesus.
I want to encourage you to be a light in this world of darkness, be alive in Christ to all the dead things around you. You can make a diference in people's lives, some will receive you and others will reject you, just shake the dust off your shoes and go on. You may be the only light and life too someone else. They cross your path everyday, be a wittness, share the gospel of Jesus Christ and the love of God. These are the things we need to be doing and do it with all authority that God has given you. Do not let anyone despise you. God Bless......make a difference.....
